Preserved big leaf hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla) in pink floyd carries a broad head of wide overlapping petals. The clusters are soft and voluminous, and the cover is dense enough that the colour stays solid right across the head. Pink floyd is a strong raspberry rose, warm and deep through the head, and it carries an arrangement on colour alone.
We preserve ours at Fleur Ombré, our family-run facility, where hydrangea is the specialty. Preserving in house keeps the colour consistent from one order to the next. That matters if you are matching a palette across a whole event, or reordering weeks later.
One stem carries a centrepiece on its own, and you rarely need many. Massed into an arch or a backdrop the heads hold a rich warm block of colour.

Keep them away from direct sunlight, high humidity and heat, and avoid contact with perfume and household cleaning sprays. Keep dried grasses away from open flames. If they become dusty, use a soft brush or a hairdryer on its coolest setting, held well back.

Handmade and sola flowers
Handmade and sola flowers do not need water. Keep them dry and away from bathrooms and other humid or steamy areas, as moisture can soften their shape and cause mould. Dust gently by hand or use a hairdryer on its coolest setting.

Faux and artificial flowers
Keep faux and artificial flowers out of direct sunlight to help prevent colour fading. Dust with a soft brush or dry cloth, and use a damp cloth for grime. Do not soak them, and avoid household cleaning sprays, which can mark or damage the petals.

Flat-rate delivery Australia-wide: $25 for NSW and $35 for the rest of Australia, whatever the size of your order. No regional or remote surcharge and no minimum order. Rates exclude GST.
Dispatch
Order before 12pm on a weekday and it’s dispatched the same day. Order after 12pm, on a weekend or on a public holiday, and it goes out the next business day.
Big orders are no different. If we have the stock and you order before the cutoff, it leaves that day unless we’ve agreed something else with you.
