Double Mini Hydrangea (3)
Hydrangea
Preserved hydrangea wholesale in four varieties: Annabelle, Big Leaf, Paniculata and Double Mini. Heads run 15–25 cm across on the rounded varieties and 30–40 cm long on the Paniculata cone, with overall lengths of 50 to 70 cm. The dense dome and cone-shaped heads anchor large-format work, filling arches, backdrops and oversized centrepieces quickly, and carry a single-stem arrangement on their own. We preserve ours at Fleur Ombré, our family-run facility. The colour holds across an extensive range from natural and white through to pink, blue, purple, red and black. Wholesale trade prices apply across the collection, with bulk pricing on every product.

View care & longevity
| Lifespan | Lasts for years in the right conditions. Some gradual and natural colour shift over a long period is normal. |
| Light | Keep away from direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure fades the colour over time. |
| Humidity | Avoid high-humidity spots and areas near moisture sources. Humidity damages the preservation treatment. |
| Water | None needed. Adding water breaks down the preservation and shortens its life. |
View styling
| As focal point | A single preserved hydrangea stem fills a large vase or anchors a centrepiece. The head size carries an arrangement on its own; pair with fine fillers like baby’s breath or ruscus to frame it. |
| At scale | One of the few preserved flowers suited to large-format event installations. Each head covers surface area quickly, making hydrangea practical for floral arches, frames, backdrop panels and oversized table centrepieces. A single colour or two-tone palette (all cream, all green, or blue and orange together) delivers the strongest impact. The dome-shaped head of Annabelle and Big Leaf varieties is especially versatile for this kind of work. |
| Variety shapes | Annabelle and Big Leaf heads are round domes. Paniculata is cone-shaped, taller and narrower. Double Mini has two smaller heads per stem. Mix varieties for visual range or stay within one for a cleaner look. |
| Bouquet work | Works across hand-tied, cascading and structured bridal bouquets. The large head creates instant volume; the smaller varieties add a delicate finish. |
| Colour | Over 20 named colours. Tonal mixing (two or three shades of the same family) creates depth. For high-contrast briefs, pair bold tones like navy and white or burgundy and blush. |
| Display | Dry in any vessel. No floral foam needed for single-stem display; wire or a narrow-neck vessel holds the stem upright without moisture contact. |
