The majority of our preserved and dried range is grown and processed at Fleur Ombré, our own production facility. We control every stage: growing conditions, harvesting timing, and the preservation method itself.

That control matters because preserved and dried flowers are not forgiving. Colour consistency, structural integrity, and availability depend entirely on what happens before the product reaches you. When we own the process, we can guarantee results we could not guarantee otherwise.

AFW was among the first to introduce preserved hydrangeas to Australia. That work built an understanding of how specific varieties respond to different preservation methods, and at what stage to harvest for the best colour hold. That knowledge is built into how Fleur Ombré operates. It is not something a supplier catalogue can replicate.
